Rock band My Chemical Romance has agreed to stop using lookalike Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders costumes during its concerts, according to the New York Post. The agreement follows legal action filed by Pro Silver Star Ltd., the owner of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. [1]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Pro Silver Star Ltd. filed for a temporary restraining order and injunction against the band in response to a staged shootout scene involving lookalike cheerleaders during Hollywood Bowl shows. The legal filing accused the band of degrading the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders brand. [1][8]

The band staged the performance as part of its theatrical concert series called The Black Parade. The New York Post reported that the stunt tricked concertgoers and social media users into believing the performers were actual Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. [1]
