Aerosmith to return for two Hollywood Bowl concerts in California

The rock band Aerosmith will play two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, UPI and Variety reported. The concerts, titled California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends, mark the band's return after previously announcing their retirement from touring, according to Variety. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

A live press release stated that Aerosmith has defined the raw spirit and rebellious attitude of American rock and roll for over five decades, UPI reported. The shows will feature guest performances from a range of high-profile artists, including The Black Crowes, RUN DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Slash, Andrew Watt, Duff McKagan, Eric Church, Pat Monahan, and Sammy Hagar. Variety noted that the lineup of guest performers will vary each night. [1][2][6]

Aerosmith has won four Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Guest guitarist Slash, born Saul Hudson, is best known as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses. The Hollywood Bowl, an amphitheatre in the Hollywood Hills, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. [7][8][10]
