Your own news network

A news site under your name, running by itself

Everything you see on FTMQ News, with your branding, on your address, covering the subjects you choose. Reports are written through the day with their sources, readers get a daily email and can comment, and you publish your own articles beside them.

What you get

Your name, your address
Your logo, colours and domain on every page, email and video. Light and dark versions, built for phones first.
Your subjects
Pick the sections, or describe what you want in a sentence and they are built for you: Gaming, Health, Business, Nature, Sci-fi, Movies, your town, your trade.
Reported all day
Stories gathered from the publishers on your beat and written up as short reports with every source linked. Your house style means no report reads like another network's.
Your own articles
An admin of your own: write articles, or give notes and have a draft made, edit or remove anything, moderate comments.
A daily email
Readers sign up on your site and get the day's top stories each morning. The list is yours and downloads as a file.
Earn from it
Connect your own Stripe account and sell two things at prices you set: articles that companies pay to publish on your site, and banner space for sponsors. Payments go straight to you; we take no cut.
Promotion on the network
With network ads on, your site is promoted free on the other FTMQ network sites, and carries one Sponsored card. Switch it off and there are no ads at all.

How it works

  1. 1

    Subscribe

Card payment through Stripe. Cancel any time.

  2. 2

    Tell us what to build

The name, the address you want, and what it should cover, in your own words.

  3. 3

    We build it

Sections, sources, style and colours are prepared and checked. Normally two working days.

  4. 4

    You run it

You get the address and your admin login. The newsroom runs by itself; you add what is yours.

Questions

Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You point the domain at the address we give you and the secure certificate is issued automatically. Until then it runs on an address we provide.
Who writes the reports?
The same newsroom engine that writes this site: it reads what several publishers report on a story, writes a short original report in your house style, and links every source. You can edit or remove any report.
What are the videos?
On the video plan, short vertical clips are made each night from the day's top stories: narrated, captioned, under your logo and colours, ready for your Video page and for social media. Clips are built from each story's picture; a filmed presenter of your own can be added.
What about advertising?
The network's advertising stays ours. Leave it on and your site carries one clearly marked Sponsored card and is promoted across the other network sites at no charge. Turn it off and your site carries no ads.
Can my network make money?
Yes. From your admin you connect your own Stripe account and switch on paid articles, sponsor banners, or both, at your own prices. Buyers pay you directly and we take nothing from it. You approve every paid article and every banner before it shows.
What happens if I cancel?
The site stays up until the end of the paid month. Your own articles and your readers' email list are yours and can be downloaded before then. The site and its archive of reports stay with us.
