A Ukrainian company named SkyFall has demonstrated a new battlefield rescue drone called StarGate, Euronews reported. The aircraft is designed with an enclosed cabin to carry wounded soldiers out of hazardous combat zones. Footage showed the remotely operated drone taking off, flying, and landing with a person on board. [1]

According to Euronews, the drone can carry up to 150 kilograms and reach speeds of up to 105 kilometres per hour. The system is built to reach casualties in locations that ground vehicles cannot access, allowing it to fly over rivers, minefields, and destroyed roads. In the video, a representative from SkyFall stepped out of the cabin after a flight. [1]

Delivery drones are unmanned aerial vehicles designed to transport items including light goods, medicines, packages, and postal mail. Major companies including Amazon, DHL, and FedEx have already started using drone delivery services. [2]

The evacuation technology arrives as military operations continue to damage regional infrastructure. As FTMQ News reported earlier, a brief energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine collapsed after both nations resumed strikes against energy infrastructure, leaving 600,000 Ukrainians without electrical power.
