Russian officials report massive drone attack on industrial plant

Russian authorities reported that a major drone attack targeted an industrial enterprise in the Nizhny Novgorod region overnight. Euronews reported that regional governor Gleb Nikitin announced on Telegram that a massive unmanned aerial vehicle attack caused significant damage to an industrial facility in the Kstovsky district. Governor Gleb Nikitin stated that more than 100 drones were destroyed during the strike. Euronews reported that initial information indicated there were no casualties from the overnight incident. [1]

Telegram war monitoring channels reported that the attack targeted the Kstovo oil refinery, which is also known as the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery. According to Euronews, the site is considered to be one of the largest such facilities in Russia. [1]
