Bruce Blakeman launches final 48-hour campaign tour across New York

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman began a statewide tour on Sunday to visit eight cities across New York within 48 hours, the New York Post reported. Blakeman kicked off the campaign swing on Long Island and announced plans to visit Oswego, Albany, and Rensselaer County later that day. [1]

The New York Post reported that Blakeman plans to return to Long Island on Sunday night before traveling to Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Binghamton on Monday. He will finish his campaign tour in Manhattan the day before the election. Blakeman told supporters that he is leaving no stone unturned. [1]

Blakeman is currently serving as the county executive of Nassau County, as FTMQ News reported earlier. He previously secured endorsements from law enforcement leaders in Nassau County and held events across Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Queens during his campaign. [3][4]

The 2026 New York gubernatorial election is scheduled for November 3, 2026. Incumbent Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul is running for re-election to serve a second full term. [2]
