Oklahoma mother receives seven consecutive life sentences for child neglect

An Oklahoma mother has been sentenced to seven consecutive life terms in prison following her conviction for child neglect and enabling sexual abuse, the New York Post reported. Cherie Walker, 34, was sentenced on Friday after allowing her husband to sexually abuse her 11-year-old daughter. [1]

According to the New York Post, Walker forced the girl to give birth to her husband's child inside their home, which was described as filled with feces. The abuse was revealed only after the daughter gave birth to the baby. [1]
