The copilot of a Learjet 60 that crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday sent a text message to her boyfriend minutes before the plane fell from the sky, according to the New York Post and the Daily Mail. All nine people on board the aircraft were killed in the crash. [1][2][8][9]

The copilot was identified as 20 year old Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, the New York Post, the Daily Mail, and earlier reports from FTMQ News confirmed. Her stepfather, Thiago Corteleti, told the New York Post that Filgueiras sent a text message at 12:40 p.m. stating that she was experiencing turbulence and ice. The aircraft crashed ten minutes later at approximately 12:50 p.m. [1][2][8][9]

The Daily Mail reported that audio from the cockpit revealed the pilot reciting the Lord's Prayer during the final seconds before the impact. Filgueiras had been in communication with family members and air traffic control up until the moment the plane crashed, the New York Post reported. [1][2]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, the private jet was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when the crash occurred. The National Transportation Safety Board is currently investigating the cause of the incident. [8][9]
