Nine unidentified fingerprints collected from the scene of the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman could be retested using modern forensic technology, Fox News reported. Ari Mark, the co-director of a new Peacock docuseries titled OJ's Accomplice, believes advances in forensics could help identify who left the prints behind during the original investigation. [1]
The docuseries reexamines the killings and explores the theory that former NFL star O.J. Simpson did not act alone. According to Fox News, the documentary focuses on Joey Ippolito, a convicted drug trafficker and associate of Simpson who reportedly had ties to organized crime. [1]
Allegations regarding the associate have been reported previously. As FTMQ News reported earlier, newly uncovered federal records revealed claims from Sam Ippolito that his brother Joseph Ippolito returned to a Los Angeles apartment with bloody hands and disposed of a heavy mystery bag around midnight on June 12, 1994, the night of the murders. [5]
Simpson played in the National Football League for 11 seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills, and achieved fame as a professional athlete. He was tried and acquitted on criminal charges for the 1994 murders of his ex-wife and her friend. [3][5]
