Police have shelved their investigation into a burglary at the Essex mansion of television personality Mark Wright and actress Michelle Keegan, the Daily Mail reported. The incident occurred on the evening of February 17, 2025, when four masked raiders broke into the 3.5 million pound property. Both Wright and Keegan, who were 39 at the time, locked themselves in a bedroom during the break in. [1]

According to the Daily Mail, police filed the case after available CCTV and forensic evidence failed to identify the suspects. The investigation stalled due to a lack of progress in identifying the four individuals involved in the intrusion. [1]

Wright gained public recognition as an original cast member on the first three series of the reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, before working as a radio presenter and television host. Keegan is known for her acting roles, including playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street from 2008 to 2014, Georgie Lane in Our Girl, and Maya Burkett in the thriller series Fool Me Once. The update on the case comes as police forces face broader scrutiny over handling residential break ins across the region, as FTMQ News reported earlier regarding a series of unlinked incidents across London and the Home Counties. [1][7]
