My Chemical Romance has taken the number one spot on the United States album chart with their album The Black Parade, according to UPI. NPR and Music Ally both reported that the band reached number one on the Billboard chart. Music Ally reported that the milestone was achieved with a 20th anniversary reissue of the record. [1][3][5]

UPI reported that Olivia Rodrigo holds the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated Saturday with You Look Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love. Morgan Wallen ranked third with I'm the Problem, Ella Langley placed fourth with Dandelion, and Noah Kahan reached fifth place with The Great Divide. UPI also noted that Taylor Swift ranked sixth with Life of a Showgirl, followed by Zach Bryan at number seven. [1]

My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from New Jersey formed by lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, and bassist Mikey Way. The Black Parade is the third studio album by the group and was initially released on October 23, 2006, through Reprise Records. It is a concept album produced alongside Rob Cavallo that centers on a character called The Patient who suffers from terminal cancer. [7][8]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Taylor Swift previously held the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with her record Life of a Showgirl, while Olivia Rodrigo held the second spot. Billboard reported that the recent chart success for My Chemical Romance comes 20 years in the making following a strategic campaign for the release. [6][10]
