Secret federal records and claims from a family member indicate that a convicted drug trafficker with mafia connections may have assisted O.J. Simpson in covering up the 1994 killings of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. According to the New York Post, Yahoo, Complex, Fox News, TheRichest, and TMZ, Sam Ippolito made allegations regarding his brother, Joseph "Joey" Ippolito, who was an associate of Simpson. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

The New York Post reported that Joseph Ippolito was a mob-connected friend of Simpson and his longtime associate Al Cowlings. Sam Ippolito told investigators that his brother returned to a Los Angeles apartment around midnight on June 12, 1994, with bloody hands while carrying a heavy, mysterious bag. [1]

Yahoo reported that Sam Ippolito claimed his brother dumped the mystery bag on the night of the murders. Yahoo added that Sam Ippolito later attempted to retract his statement after asking for money. [2]

Orenthal James Simpson was a former professional football player who spent nine of his 11 seasons in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills. Simpson was acquitted during a criminal trial for the June 1994 murders of his former wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend Ronald Goldman. [1][8]
