Democrats prepare congressional investigations targeting Elon Musk

Democratic lawmakers are preparing to initiate congressional investigations into Elon Musk following recent midterm election victories, Fox News and the Daily Mail reported. Representative Jamie Raskin told Fox News Digital that he feels pretty certain at least one committee will investigate the Department of Government Efficiency, calling the cost-cutting initiative a catastrophe. Additionally, the Daily Mail reported that House Democrats are laying groundwork to probe how the president used Musk's Grok artificial intelligence chatbot before military operations in Caracas. Lawmakers are also proposing legislative measures to limit Musk's political influence. According to msnbc.com, Senator Chris Van Hollen and Representative Robert Garcia are seeking to close what they term the Elon Musk loophole. The proposed legislation aims to prevent major industry leaders who hold federal contracts from attempting to influence elections. [2]
