A United States intelligence memo states that Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang allegedly had a romantic relationship with a Chinese businesswoman suspected of spying for Beijing, the Daily Mail, the Financial Times, and The Times of India reported. The Daily Mail noted that the intelligence memo raised fears of a potential honey trap targeting the 63-year-old technology executive. [1][2][3]

According to the Daily Mail, the tech mogul became romantically involved with Alice Huang, who is an executive at Singapore-based Megaspeed. Megaspeed is a major Nvidia customer that was already under investigation over allegations that it helped funnel restricted technology. TechTimes and CNBC both reported that Jensen Huang has been asked to brief the United States Congress regarding the reported relationship with the alleged spy. [1][8][9]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, United States intelligence agencies suspect Alice Huang targeted Jensen Huang for espionage and suspected her of smuggling chips to China. Intelligence reports indicated that President Donald Trump was previously briefed on the matter but took no action. [11]

The allegations come alongside broader scrutiny of Nvidia business dealings in Asia. Tom's Hardware reported that Nvidia has tightened tracking of its artificial intelligence chips in Southeast Asia after Chinese chip smuggling drew official scrutiny. Data Center Dynamics also reported that nearly 600,000 Nvidia H200 chips are currently stranded in Hong Kong because the Chinese government has stalled import approvals. [4][7]
