Two missing college students found dead after Colorado mountain snowstorm

Two college students who went missing while attempting to scale Ice Mountain in Colorado have been found dead after getting caught in a snowstorm, the New York Post reported. The victims were identified as Jackson Donlon, a 20 year old native of New York, and Kaden Matsuda, aged 19. [1]

Both victims were students at Colorado Mountain College Leadville. According to the New York Post, the pair disappeared over the weekend while trying to climb the peak, which stands at nearly 14,000 feet, as a storm dumped snow across the area. [1]

Earlier coverage by AOL, Modern Ghana, CBS News, and The Leadville Herald had tracked the search efforts after the students went missing on Friday. CBS News reported that search crews found a collapsed tent buried under the snow on the mountain prior to the discovery of the bodies. [2][3][4][5]
