Turnstile Performs Muddy Set at Austin City Limits 2026 Festival

Turnstile performed a Friday evening concert at Zilker Park for the 2026 Austin City Limits festival, Consequence reported. Yahoo and the Austin American-Statesman both reported that attendees created a muddy mosh pit during the performance following wet weather at the venue. Consequence noted that the set took place on day one of the event, where audience members danced and slammed together in the sludge. [1][7][8]

According to Consequence, a half-inch of rain fell across Austin in the hours leading up to the opening day of Austin City Limits 2026. The rainfall soaked the grounds at Zilker Park before Turnstile took the stage. During the performance, the band played a 12-song set that drew heavily from their records NEVER ENOUGH and GLOW ON as fans gathered in the muddy conditions. [1]

Following their performance at Zilker Park, Turnstile is scheduled to make their debut on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest, Consequence reported. The outlet stated that the band will perform on the show on Saturday evening under much drier conditions. The upcoming episode of the television series will be hosted by Dakota Johnson. [1]
