Baltimore rock group Turnstile made their debut performance on Saturday Night Live on October 3, Rolling Stone and Billboard reported. The group served as the musical guest on an episode hosted by actress Dakota Johnson, according to Billboard. [1][2]
Rolling Stone reported that the band opened with the single Birds before playing a two-song medley of I Care and Dull. The performance took place the night after the group played at the Austin City Limits festival, Rolling Stone added. [1]
The songs featured during the appearance are from Turnstile's fourth studio album, Never Enough, which was released on June 6, 2025. Rolling Stone reported that the group became the first band nominated simultaneously in the Rock, Alternative, and Metal categories at the Grammy Awards. Never Enough won Best Rock Album, while the track Birds won Best Metal Performance at the ceremony in February. [1][4]
Never Enough is the group's first album without founding member Brady Ebert following his departure in 2022, and their first featuring guitarist Meg Mills. Prior to its release, the group performed a free benefit concert in Baltimore for Healthcare for the Homeless. [4]
