President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he is considering relocating the White House press corps to a different location, Fox News and the Washington Times reported. Fox News reported that Trump wrote on Truth Social that he is thinking about moving reporters to make room for other White House needs, a day after suggesting the press could be moved to a less obnoxious location. [1][2]

In his post on Truth Social, Trump denied rumors about potential structural changes to the space. According to Fox News, Trump stated that he is not building a swimming pool in the White House briefing room and had never intended to do so. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Trump had previously rejected reports that the briefing room would be renovated into a pool. [1][15]

The White House serves as the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., the building has served as the residence of every American president since 1800. [12]

Separately, the Washington Post reported that the White House faces a new lawsuit over media bans, as media organizations seek a wider injunction against administration restrictions. [6]
