Creator Tim Federle has detailed the storyline and production choices for the television series Coven Academy, which is streaming on Disney+. According to Variety, the show is set at a boarding school for witches and warlocks located in New Orleans. Variety and TVLine both reported that Federle unpacked major story developments from the first season, including a deleted kiss scene. [1][2]
Variety reported that the series was originally planned as the first true young adult drama in the history of the Disney Channel.
