Actors Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly are set to appear together in an episode of NCIS: Origins scheduled for October 20. CBS announced the upcoming reunion in a press release on Tuesday, as UPI and Variety reported. [1][2]
The appearance marks the first time in 10 years that the actors will share the screen as their former characters, Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Tony DiNozzo. Variety reported that the two characters were last seen together in the season finale of the 13th season of NCIS, when DiNozzo left the law enforcement agency. [1][2]
Harmon is 75 years old and Weatherly is 58 years old, UPI reported. Both actors spent 13 seasons appearing together on the original series before their respective departures. Harmon played the lead role of Gibbs on NCIS, while Weatherly played DiNozzo, an agent he is also set to portray in NCIS: Tony and Ziva. [1][7][8]
