Saber Interactive Developing Prequel Video Game Exploring John Wick Origins

Video game developer Saber Interactive is developing an upcoming prequel project that will detail the origin story of action character John Wick, Screen Rant reported. [1]

According to Screen Rant, the story will focus on how Jardani Jovonovich became known as the Baba Yaga, covering his earliest assignments and brutal training. The report notes that while the film series established his Belarusian background and connection to the Ruska Roma, his full rise to fame remains incomplete. [1]

The media franchise was created by Derek Kolstad and centers on a neo-noir action film series starring Keanu Reeves as legendary hitman John Wick. The original film released in 2014 and was followed by three sequels, alongside spin-offs including the miniseries The Continental and the film Ballerina. [2]
