The family of Sonia Exelby, a 32 year old British woman killed in the United States, have said she was groomed through a fetish website where she met her alleged murderer, the Daily Mail reported. Exelby was found in a shallow grave in Florida on October 17 last year, days after travelling 4,000 miles from Portsmouth, England. [1]

According to the Daily Mail, Exelby travelled to meet 54 year old Dwain Hall after the pair first met on a fetish website. Early indications from the police investigation suggested that Exelby had paid Hall to take her life. Hall faces a murder trial that begins next month. [1]

The Daily Mail reported that Exelby worked as a music tutor and suffered from depression and body dysmorphia in the period before her death. As FTMQ News reported earlier, separate online and international targeting cases have previously led to criminal prosecutions in foreign jurisdictions. [1][5]

Hall is set to go on trial for the murder of Exelby next month, according to the Daily Mail. [1]
