The prosecution in the murder trial of Beau Lamarre-Condon told a Sydney court that he previously visited a rural farm where he allegedly dumped the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. The Daily Mail and the Guardian reported that the 31-year-old accused killer knew of the Bungonia farm, located about 200 kilometres south of Sydney, because he previously dated a man whose family owned the property. [1][2]

In a statement read to the court, Michael Cella said he matched with Lamarre-Condon on Hinge in March 2023. The Daily Mail reported that the two went on an overnight date at Cella Farm on November 6, 2023. The prosecution stated that Lamarre-Condon returned to the farm shortly after allegedly killing the two men on February 19, 2024. [1][2]

The Guardian and Nacionale News both reported that the jury was also shown a 3D reconstruction of a Paddington terrace outlining the prosecution version of the alleged murders. The Guardian added that the prosecution detailed how the former police officer later tried to sink the victims' bodies at the rural property. [2][4]

Jesse Baird worked as an Australian television presenter and officiated 62 matches as an Australian Football League umpire. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to the February 2024 murders of Baird and Davies. Forensic tests previously identified Davies' DNA on the trigger and handle of Lamarre-Condon's pistol. [5][7][8]
