Text messages released by the New South Wales Supreme Court reveal that accused killer Beau Lamarre-Condon sent explicit details about his relationship with Jesse Baird to a female police officer. The Daily Mail reported that the 31-year-old accused sent a message to Senior Constable Nicole Harvell in April 2023 stating that his intimacy with Mr Baird was getting more intense. [1]
The Daily Mail said the text was sent a few months after the on-off relationship between Mr Lamarre-Condon and Mr Baird began. The court heard last week that Mr Lamarre-Condon and Senior Constable Harvell became close friends through their work. [1]
Mr Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to the February 2024 murders of Mr Baird and his new partner, Luke Davies. As FTMQ News reported earlier, forensic evidence previously presented at the trial showed marks on Mr Baird from a gun fired at close range, while Mr Davies' DNA was found on the trigger and handle of Mr Lamarre-Condon's service pistol. [4]
Mr Baird was a 26-year-old former television presenter and Australian Football League umpire. Mr Davies was 29 years old when he was killed in a Sydney terrace home, and the bodies of both men were later recovered inside surfboard bags in rural New South Wales. [3][4][5]
