California raisin heir ordered to obey restraining order against neighbor rabbi

Bruce Lion, an heir to the Lion Raisin empire, appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Wednesday after being charged with harassing his neighbor, Rabbi Zushe Cunin, the New York Post reported. Prosecutors raised concerns that Lion was not obeying court rules, leading the court to order him to stay away from the victim. [1]

The New York Post reported that Lion was ordered to remain at least 300 yards away from Rabbi Cunin. Lion agreed to comply with the terms of the restraining order during his court appearance. [1]

Authorities charged Lion after he allegedly shouted a series of antisemitic insults at the rabbi from the balcony of his six million dollar mansion in Pacific Palisades. He was arrested last June following the incidents. [1]
