Rabbi charged with murder following fatal incident at California Costco

Prosecutors in Ventura County, California, have charged Abba Avrohom Bryski with felony murder after he allegedly drove his car into a worker on October 20. The New York Post and The Forward reported that Bryski, a 35-year-old prominent rabbi and educator from Agoura Hills, is accused of killing 28-year-old Nicholas Lang outside a Costco warehouse in Camarillo, northwest of Los Angeles. According to the New York Post, prosecutors said Bryski intentionally mowed down Lang, who was painting parking lot lines, rather than hitting him accidentally. Emergency services were dispatched to the West Ventura Boulevard gas station shortly after 8:30 p.m. following reports that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian near the gas pumps. In addition to the murder charge, Bryski is charged with resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer. [1]
