An Iranian militia chief accused of coordinating a series of antisemitic attacks in Britain has continued to plot terror operations from behind bars, according to United States authorities cited by the Daily Mail. Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi is accused of orchestrating at least 18 terror attacks across Europe and North America since February. He was arrested in Turkey before being transferred to the United States. [1]

The Daily Mail reported that United States authorities now claim al-Saadi is attempting to recruit further proxies from inside prison using coded language in phone calls and directing one million dollars in financial transfers. Prosecutors say he masterminded the firebombing of a synagogue in London and the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green. [1]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, European authorities have raised concerns over Iranian intelligence activities. A court in Hamburg, Germany, sentenced two men to prison for spying and attempted murder targeting Jewish leaders on behalf of Iran, while three Iranian nationals went on trial in London accused of targeting journalists for attack and surveillance. [3][4]

United States officials fear that al-Saadi is actively expanding his network of proxies from inside the prison system despite his ongoing detention. [1]
