Saturday Night Live satirized President Donald Trump and Republican politicians in its October 3 cold open sketch ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, Deadline, The Wrap, and Variety reported. James Austin Johnson portrayed Trump, while Marcello Hernández played Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Colin Jost portrayed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, according to The Wrap. [1][2][3]
