Prada highlights hand animation over artificial intelligence in holiday campaign

Luxury fashion house Prada has launched a new Christmas advertising campaign titled Drawing Prada Animated By Hand. Euronews reported that the campaign relies on hand animation and avoids generative artificial intelligence tools. The outlet described the initiative as a direct response to digital tools that threaten human creative work. [1]

The campaign positions traditional craftsmanship as a primary selling point for the brand during the holiday marketing season. Euronews reported that luxury houses are choosing to highlight human effort over automated cost cutting techniques that produce lower quality output. [1]

Prada was founded in 1913 in Milan by Mario Prada and his brother Martino Prada as a luxury leather goods business operating under the name Fratelli Prada. The Italian fashion house licenses its brand to Luxottica for eyewear and to L'Oreal for cosmetics and fragrances. [3][5]
