A woman whose husband killed their two young children and himself by jumping from a parking garage in a Pittsburgh suburb described him as a wonderful dad, the Daily Mail reported. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at a parking structure in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, as FTMQ News reported earlier. [1][3]
The Daily Mail and FTMQ News both report that 42-year-old Patrick Lynch died alongside his eight-year-old son James and his six-year-old daughter Caroline. Investigators believe the deaths were a double murder-suicide after the father threw the children from the five-story garage before jumping. [1][3]
The statement from the wife, Anna DeMase Lynch, appeared in a now-deleted Facebook post shared hours after the killings, according to the Daily Mail. FTMQ News previously reported that local police and the medical examiner office responded to the site at around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. [1][3]
