Paul McCartney Discusses Singing at Taylor Swift Wedding on Kimmel

Paul McCartney shared inside details about performing at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 3, 2026. Billboard and Rolling Stone both reported that McCartney explained he sang the Beatles track I Want to Hold Your Hand after Swift personally requested it for the event. [1][2]

The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, according to Billboard and Rolling Stone. During the talk show interview, McCartney noted that Swift asked him to perform, which led to his appearance at the private ceremony. [1][2]

Rolling Stone and Consequence both reported that McCartney also discussed an earlier Los Angeles concert during his interview with Kimmel. McCartney stated that he would no longer invite comedian Larry David to his shows after David refused to sing along to Hey Jude during a performance at the Fonda Theatre. [2][4]

Swift and Kelce married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as FTMQ News reported earlier. McCartney had not performed I Want to Hold Your Hand live since 1964 with the Beatles. [11][13]
