A new fan modification for The Witcher 3 Remastered replaces every griffon in the game with a giant low-poly pigeon, Kotaku reported on 3 October 2026. The modification is titled Low-Poly Pigeon, The Revenge and was created by a modder named grapedia. [1]

Kotaku reported that the low-poly pigeon originally became an unofficial mascot for the game after players discovered it following the next-gen release in 2022. The creature became a popular internet meme and reaction image. Modder grapedia noted that players frequently laughed at the character for its tiny body and vacant stare. [1]

PC Gamer reported on 3 October 2026 that the remastered version of The Witcher 3 reached a new all-time peak in concurrent players. The publication noted that the remastered edition was made available to players as a free upgrade. [3]

According to Screen Rant, completing the main storyline of The Witcher 3 requires approximately 50 hours of gameplay. Screen Rant reported that the best way to experience the post-launch expansions is in release order, although players can technically begin the second expansion before finishing the main story. Completing all content takes between 100 and 180 hours. [4]
