Olivia Rodrigo has reached number one on the United States Billboard 200 album chart for the week dated October 31, UPI and ad-hoc-news.de reported. UPI noted that her album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, took the top position on the chart. [1][6]
According to UPI, Zach Bryan took the second spot with Young Manhood And Other Donatable Organs. Morgan Wallen placed third with I'm the Problem, followed by Ella Langley's Dandelion at number four and Taylor Swift's Life of a Showgirl at number five. The top ten was rounded out by albums from Noah Kahan, Drake, Olivia Dean, and SZA. [1]
You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo. Released by Geffen Records on June 12, 2026, the album was primarily written by Rodrigo and producer Dan Nigro, and it features a guest appearance by Robert Smith of The Cure. [7][8]
Born in Murrieta, California, Rodrigo began her career as a child actress before gaining prominence on the Disney Channel and Disney+. Her debut album Sour and her second album Guts both achieved major commercial success, with Guts also debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. [8][9]
As FTMQ News reported earlier, Rodrigo previously held lower spots on the chart behind Taylor Swift's album Life of a Showgirl, which occupied the top rank in recent weeks. [10][11]
