The singer-songwriter written and produced the twelfth studio album alongside collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, recording the music in Sweden during the 2024 European leg of her Eras Tour. The record released through Republic Records in October 2025 and took inspiration from her live shows and her relationship with football player Travis Kelce. [9][11]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Swift previously made an appearance on Saturday Night Live with actor Dakota Johnson ahead of the release. Billboard reported on October 9 that Swift also held the top spot on the United Kingdom charts for a second week with the single Patient Zero. [8][13][14]
