The Sydney murder trial of former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon heard testimony that he asked a friend to get rid of a phone for him on February 20, the day after he allegedly killed Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. The Daily Mail reported that Stacey Parker testified she met Lamarre-Condon in 2010 and considered him a friend. She told the court about their communication following the alleged killings. [1]
The prosecution presented details regarding a rural property in Bungonia where Lamarre-Condon allegedly tried to hide the bodies. According to the Guardian, the court was told that Lamarre-Condon had visited the farm months prior to the alleged murders. The property belonged to the family of a man he met on a dating application. [2][3]
The court was also shown a three-dimensional reconstruction of a Paddington terrace house connected to the prosecution case, the Guardian reported. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to the February 2024 double murder. [2][6]
Jesse Baird was a television presenter and Australian Football League goal umpire who officiated 62 matches. Previous court records showed that forensic evidence identified Luke Davies' DNA on the trigger and handle of Lamarre-Condon's service pistol, as FTMQ News reported earlier. [5][7]
