A Cork man who disappeared 34 years ago has been located deceased in the United Kingdom, according to reports from The Journal and the Irish Examiner. Gardaí confirmed that Patrick 'Patsy' O'Sullivan was located deceased in another jurisdiction. [1][2]
The Journal reported that O'Sullivan was 35 years old when he went missing. He had been working as a chef in County Kerry and last visited his family home in Lombardstown, County Cork, during the Easter bank holiday weekend in April 1992. That visit was his last known contact with his family. [1]
O'Sullivan failed to return home a few weeks later for a christening. Although he was known to go away for work for weeks at a time in various locations, he had always kept in contact with his family and returned periodically. His brother stated that he had been living in the United Kingdom under a new name. [1]
