Irish police are investigating the financial assets of a gang involved in a nationwide trade of suspected illegal vapes and cannabis products, irishexaminer.com reported. More than 100 officers carried out a search operation across five counties in recent days. [1]

According to irishexaminer.com, officers searched warehouses and vape shops in Longford, Mayo, Roscommon, Wexford, and Carlow. During the operation, police seized estimated illegal products worth 3 million euros alongside 235,000 euros in cash. [1]

Two brothers holding dual Irish-Pakistani citizenship are suspected of leading the criminal network, irishexaminer.com reported. Garda Headquarters confirmed the national-level operation involved a significant deployment of police resources. [1]
