Gardaí investigate criminal damage at vape shop in Tralee

Irish police are appealing for witnesses after a masked man armed with a hammer damaged a store window in Tralee early on Saturday morning.

An Garda Síochána is investigating an incident where a masked man wielding a hammer smashed the window of a shop in Tralee, Radio Kerry reported. The incident took place at approximately three o'clock in the morning on Saturday, 3 October. [1]

According to Radio Kerry, Sergeant Lynda Brosnan stated that the damage occurred at Miix.Cloudz, a vape and convenience store situated on Ashe Street. Sergeant Brosnan added that this was the only business premises that appeared to have been targeted in the area. [1]

Tralee is the largest town and county town of County Kerry, located in the south-west of Ireland on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula. Census records from 2022 show that the town had a population of 26,079 people. [3][4]

Gardaí are currently appealing for any witnesses who were in the Ashe Street area at the time of the incident to contact them with information. [1]
