French director Pierre Le Gall won the top award, the Golden Eye, for his film Flesh and Fuel at the 22nd Zurich Film Festival on Saturday, Variety reported. The story is a passionate love story centered on a French long-distance truck driver. It marks the feature debut for Le Gall, after previously making its world premiere during the Critics' Week section at the Cannes Film Festival. [1]
In the documentary competition, Pete Muller received the Golden Eye for his film Bucks Harbor, Variety reported. The documentary made its debut in the Panorama section at the Berlin Film Festival.
