Donald Trump holds Tennessee campaign rally ahead of midterm elections

President Donald Trump held a political rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, on October 10 ahead of the midterm elections, the Washington Examiner reported. The news outlet noted that the event was scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. local time as part of his ongoing campaign tour through red states. [1]

According to the Washington Examiner and Clarksville Now, Republican Senators Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn joined Trump at the venue. Blackburn is currently running for governor of Tennessee, and Clarksville Now reported that she described the state as a great red wall during the event. The Washington Examiner added that other Republican congressional candidates also participated in the rally. [1][4]

Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States in January 2025. As FTMQ News reported earlier, he has been conducting a campaign rally blitz across key states ahead of the midterm elections as Republican candidates face close races. [8][9]

The event was also covered by local and national news outlets, including WSMV, WKRN News 2, and Yahoo, which provided live updates and photo coverage of Trump addressing supporters prior to the start of early voting. [2][3][5]
