The Washington Examiner reported that President Trump campaigned to boost Republican House candidate Ed Gallrein alongside other party contenders. According to the New York Post, the trip to Highland Heights aimed to bolster Republicans in competitive races, including a House contest that could put another seat at risk for the party. [1][2]

The event in Northern Kentucky placed the president just across the Ohio River from battleground territory, according to the New York Post. The outlet added that the trip was designed to shore up a newly competitive House race and secure two other seats that have created political challenges for his party. [2]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, President Trump has been travelling across the country to support Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections, including recent rally appearances in Wasilla, Alaska, and Clarksville, Tennessee. [9][10]
