President Donald Trump has increased his campaign activities by holding multiple rallies in an effort to maintain Republican control of both houses of Congress, the Daily Mail reported. The Daily Mail and the Independent both report that Trump claims he is flipping races through his campaign blitz, while Anadolu Ajansi and TRT World report that Trump expressed confidence that Republicans will do very well in the November 3 midterm elections. [1][2][8][9][11]

The Daily Mail reported that the Republican Party faces concerns over potential losses in deep red states and key swing states. According to the Independent, voters who previously supported Trump are growing dissatisfied with his policies and comments. Newsweek reported that Republicans are warning that Trump is already preparing an excuse in the event of a midterm loss. [1][2][5][8]

In policy actions ahead of the midterms, France 24 reported that Trump signed an executive order to ease limits on tax-free red-dyed diesel fuel to lower costs for farmers. Meanwhile, the Daily Signal reported that Trump held a rally in Vandalia, Ohio, alongside gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and Senator Jon Husted, who is running in a special election. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Trump previously campaigned in Vandalia to support Husted in his race against Sherrod Brown. [3][4][6][14]

Media relations have also drawn commentary, with The Wrap reporting that Trump accused Fox News of platforming political opponents over Republican candidates. The Republican Party, which was founded in 1854, remains one of the two major political parties in the United States alongside the Democratic Party. [7][13]
