Men accused of sexually assaulting Joanne Young after being invited to her home by her then husband have told Winchester Crown Court that they had no idea she was drugged. As FTMQ News reported earlier, four men are on trial charged with sexually assaulting Young while she was sedated and blindfolded. The Guardian reported that defendants told the court they made contact through online adverts and a swinging website. [1][2]
One defendant, accused of assaulting Young while she lay restrained and blindfolded, testified that he was a young man trying out things and did not know she was sedated. A second defendant claimed the encounter was just a sex meet, telling the court there is a large cuckold community of men who watch their wives having sex and that Young appeared fine, according to the Guardian. [1]
Young waived her legal right to anonymity during the proceedings. The Guardian reported that Connor Sanderson-Doyle, aged 32, is among the four men currently on trial at Winchester Crown Court. [1]
Young's 50-year-old former husband previously admitted to drugging her and inviting men to attack her, as FTMQ News reported earlier. He pleaded guilty to 60 offences against his wife, alongside additional charges of rape and sexual assault. Another man, Sean Peers, previously pleaded guilty at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court to assault by penetration committed against Young in Stockport in September 2024. [2][3]
