The F45 Elysian fitness centre in Cork city is closing with immediate effect as it enters voluntary liquidation, the Irish Examiner reported. Directors Paul Buckley and former rugby player Peter Stringer informed members of the closure through an email sent late on Sunday night. [1]
The gym opened for memberships in 2022 and occupied a 3,150-square-foot unit inside the Elysian Tower, a landmark building in Cork city. In their joint message, the directors stated that memberships were ending immediately and expressed great regret over the decision to close the operating company. [1]
Stringer is a former professional scrum-half who played 13 seasons for Munster between 1998 and 2011.
