Christopher Abbott Cast as Professor X in Upcoming Marvel X-Men Movie

Actor Christopher Abbott has stated that he has not read any script material yet for his role as Professor Charles Xavier in the upcoming X-Men feature, Deadline reported. The actor confirmed that he is very much excited to begin work on the Marvel Studios production despite being kept in the dark about specific story details. [1]

According to Deadline, the new superhero project is set to be directed by Jake Schreier. A report by ComicBookMovie.com noted that the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot is targeted for release in May 2028, with Abbott cast to play the lead character. [1][2]
