The Arizona Cardinals secured an 18-16 victory against the Los Angeles Rams in week six of the National Football League season on Sunday. The BBC, The Guardian, and the New York Post all reported on the win, which saw kicker Chad Ryland convert a walk-off field goal to seal the upset. CBS Sports described the outcome as the largest upset of the season so far. [1][2][4][5][6]

The New York Post reported that Ryland scored the game-winning 43-yard field goal as time expired at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The BBC noted that Ryland scored all of Arizona's points in the contest. Following the loss, both the BBC and the New York Post reported that the Rams fell to a 2-4 record, leaving them in last place in the NFC West division. [1][4][6]

In other week six action, the Philadelphia Eagles continued their poor start to the season after suffering another defeat, according to the BBC and The Guardian. The Guardian reported that the Carolina Panthers defeated the injury-riddled Eagles by a score of 3-2 to 2-4. Carolina quarterback Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns to Tommy Tremble, while Chuba Hubbard rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown. [1][2][3]

The Guardian noted that Philadelphia played without quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley. Meanwhile, the BBC reported that the Kansas City Chiefs remained unbeaten, while the Cleveland Browns maintained their strong start to the season and the Houston Texans won to wrap up this year's London series.
