Passenger removed from Delta flight in New York after racist tirade

Port Authority police officers removed a passenger from a Delta Air Lines flight in New York City after he engaged in a drunken and racist tirade, the New York Post reported. Jerome Anixter, 60, of Brooklyn, was escorted off Delta flight 2342 bound for Atlanta around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. [1]

Law enforcement sources told the New York Post that police officers responded to the aircraft at John F. Kennedy International Airport after receiving a report about an intoxicated passenger causing a disturbance. Video footage shared online showed the passenger yelling obscenities and using racial slurs as he was led off the plane prior to departure. [1]
