A Frontier Airlines flight attendant pushed a panicking passenger who appeared to try to open an emergency exit door after a plane was stranded on the tarmac on Wednesday. According to the New York Post, travelers were left stuck inside a dark, hot aircraft at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to a broken jet bridge. [1]

Social media footage posted to TikTok showed a woman wearing a gray hoodie standing near the exit door and shouting at crew members to open it. The New York Post reported that the plane was stuck at the gate for up to an hour without air conditioning before the incident took place. [1]

The 13-second video clip showed the flight attendant wrapping his arms around the passenger, pushing her back from the door, and attempting to calm her down. Disruptive behavior by passengers on the ground can lead to delayed flight departures and criminal charges. [1][2]
