A passenger aboard the Learjet that crashed in Palm Beach, Florida, made a final video call to her sister shortly before the flight took off. The New York Post reported that 24-year-old nanny Anita Cetina called her sister Angie from the aircraft before it plummeted and caught fire. All nine people on board died in the crash. [1][4][5]
The New York Post reported that those killed included Cetina, two pilots, a tech entrepreneur, his wife, their two young children, and two adult friends. The plane was traveling to the Bahamas. Angie Cetina told The U.S. Sun that her sister was happy because she had never visited the Bahamas before. [1]
Parts of the engine of the doomed Learjet were recovered from the street wreckage following the crash, according to the Daily Mail. As FTMQ News reported earlier, the aircraft had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. FTMQ News also previously reported that 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha was among the nine victims. [2][4][5]
