Lenny Kravitz team denies singer was aboard deadly Florida plane crash

Representatives for musician Lenny Kravitz and a private pilot he uses have denied that the singer was on board a private jet that crashed in Florida, according to the New York Post, Lead Stories, and International Business Times. All nine people aboard the aircraft died when it crashed on Sunday. [1][2][3][4][5][7][8][9]

False rumors spread widely on social media platform X after a female pilot posted about flying Kravitz on a similar route prior to the accident, the New York Post reported. The New York Post added that the $2 million Learjet was traveling to the Bahamas when it crashed into mobile homes and erupted in a fireball. [1]

Al Jazeera reported that the private jet was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it crashed in Greenacres, near West Palm Beach, Florida. Euronews reported that the accident happened near Cresthaven in Palm Beach County, less than 11 kilometers from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort home. [4][6]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, the Learjet 60 took off from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas before crashing at around 12:50 p.m. local time. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the disaster. [16][17]
